 The Drudgery of Fox “News”

Here’s several examples of the idiocy of Fox “News,” the “Fair & Balanced” White House propaganda organ and right wing “news” source of choice:

First: Sean Hannity.

Second: interviewing Matt Drudge.

But the third is the doozy. Sez Hannity: “You have a huge, blockbuster story that is up there now … and you pick up AP, Reuters reporting … When will the mainstream media catch up to Matt Drudge?”

Drudge runs a story he picked up from AP and Reuters, but they have to catch up to him. This is “news,” Fox style.

I especially love the headline: “Fox Facts – Liberals plot to take back America.” Ooooohhhhh, aaaaahhhhh!!! Look out, the scary liberals are coming!

You’re damn right we are. It’s a real fact.

You are, eh? Yeah, with Deano around to whittle your constituency down to nineteen crusties in Berkeley and George Soros’ servants, you’ll be in like Flynn sometime around 2100… And you’ll all still be claiming the oceans will rise (or, er, sink, or move sideways, or… something…) “any day now” — and wondering why nobody believes anything you say. “But we spend half our lives telling ourselves we’re SMARTER than they are! They’re not ALLOWED to notice that we’re lying! No fair! MOMMMYYYYYY! WAAAHHHH!”

Look at the brave, brave troll who leaves a bullshit email address to go along with his bullshit accusations. At least I leave my real info when I post on conservative blogs, which I’m sure is what led you here.

But tell me, ogg, what has Dean lied about? Granted, he’s not being as PC as one might hope, but let’s face it — the GOP is “not very friendly to different kinds of people, they are a pretty monolithic party … it’s pretty much a white, Christian party.” And the rest of what he’s saying about them is true, too, but you wingnuts are too afraid of the truth to address the rest of it — you’d rather throw bombs about his un-PC statements and try to focus attention on that.

And another thing… All you Kool-Aid drinkers are sooo offended and up in arms that we think we’re smarter than you. In truth, we think you’re dumber than us — I mean, let’s face it, you voted for Bush, for fuck’s sake; how dumb are you? And I believe that the reason you’re so sensitive about that is that you believe it too.

But you go on, keep telling yourself that you’re in control and will stay there with Bush’s and the GOP Congress’ opinion ratings falling like trees in a Bush-protected forest preserve. And we’ll see who’s crying to their mommy (Dino Rossi, anyone?) after the elections.

I don’t think ogg claimed that Dean lied. Seems to me he just suggested you might want someone who has a little better grasp on his/her emotions and more tact. AAAHHHHHHHHH!!(impersonating Dean)
