Another Typical Day

An actual phone conversation I had today:

Co-Worker: Goodmorning
Me: Goodmorning
Co-Worker: You don't happen to have an extra pair of black high heels in your office I could borrow, do you?
Me: In fact I do, come on over.

That was Bob, wasn't it? He used to borrow my bras all the time.

Y'know, that kind of thing happens to me all the time!

Co-Worker: Goodmorning
Me: Goodmorning
Co-Worker: You don't happen to have an extra copy of Maxim in your office I could borrow, do you?
Me: In fact I do, come on over.

(c'mon, there are black high heels in Maxim!)

:-)

An extra pair of heels. I can't say I ever had an extra pair of shoes in my office when I worked, and I certainly can't say as I've ever had anyone ask me to borrow them. You must be pretty popular.

OK, here's the reality: I have a thing for shoes. I have an entire secret wardrobe of shoes that I keep at the office that my husband knows nothing about.

My secret is out and I feel soooo much better now.

Don't think that she's keeping them at the office to hide them from me. No, she keeps them there because there's no more room in her friggin' closet at home for them.

ROTFLOL Chuck! I never did get the fascination with shoes. I'm a woman, but I really have never understood this stereo-type. I am the type of person that has 1 pair of sandals for summer, a pair of tennis shoes for normal wear, a pair of hiking boots for nature outings, 1 pair of white heels, and one pair of black heels. No pumps or flats. That's really all I need. I just don't understand anything beyond that. Maybe you can explain?
